This program equips students with the academic and practical skills essential for addressing and contemplating high-level issues in bank and financial management. These skills are applicable across diverse financial situations, financial markets, and financial organizations.
Upon the successful completion of this program, students are encouraged to pursue further studies with us, progressing to our Doctor of Business Administration program.

Typically, applicants should hold a minimum of a 2:2 UK first degree or an equivalent international qualification acknowledged by UK ENIC. Alternatively, a substitute for a first degree is five years of work experience at a senior managerial level.
A proficiency in the English language is required, with an average IELTS score of 6.0 or its equivalent in any other approved test. No component of the test should score less than 5.5.
Additionally, applicants are generally expected to have accumulated two years or more of work experience at a managerial or supervisory level.
DBA/ PhD
The MBA Banking and Finance program will furnish students with foundational business management knowledge alongside specialized modules in Financial and Banking areas, empowering them to thrive in their selected field.
Part 1
Compulsory modules:
- Financial Management: Upon the successful completion of the Financial Management module, students should be able to showcase their proficiency in researching, applying, and evaluating a variety of financial assessment techniques for practical application in a case study. Additionally, they should demonstrate the ability to research, evaluate, and critically discuss various issues and theoretical frameworks relevant to managing and controlling financial resources. This comprehensive skill set equips students with the tools to navigate complex financial landscapes and contribute to effective financial decision-making.
- Marketing Management: Upon successfully completing the Marketing Management module, students should possess the skills to critically assess key marketing activities and analyze the marketing department’s contribution to the organization. Additionally, they should be able to anticipate and critically evaluate upcoming developments in the field of marketing, particularly those driven by technological advancements. This competence allows students to adeptly navigate evolving marketing landscapes and contribute strategically to organizational growth and success.
- Strategic Management: After successfully completing the Strategic Management module, students should showcase the ability to synthesize the relationship between an organization’s external and internal contexts and understand their impact on its strategies. Additionally, they should critically evaluate competitive and development strategies within the context of contemporary strategic management issues. Moreover, students are expected to assess the factors that play a crucial role in strategy implementation. This comprehensive skill set equips students with the knowledge and analytical capabilities essential for effective strategic planning and execution within complex organizational environments.
- Human Resource Management: Upon successful completion of the Human Resource Management module, students will have the ability to critically review and assess current research and advanced scholarship. This skill empowers them to evaluate managerial and business environments effectively. Additionally, students will demonstrate a systematic understanding of current issues in both Human Resource Management (HRM) and International Human Resource Management (IHRM) across various organizations. This comprehension enables them to skillfully manage the design and implementation of fair, efficient, and effective policies and procedures, aligning with the strategic goals of the organization.
